Your first launch
Install the app from Google Play. Open it in landscape and allow camera and microphone access. You can skip the Quick Start Tutorial and reopen it from Settings later.
Choose your language and sport in Settings and enter the home and away team names. Then tap Start video capture. Starting the camera does not start a public broadcast.
Before the match, test audio, battery level and your internet connection. Consider a power bank for longer broadcasts and allow space around the phone for cooling.
Finding your way around
The preview shows your picture and scoreboard. Match controls sit beside it, with replay and broadcast connections below. Settings controls the appearance and behaviour of the app.
Fullscreen enlarges the preview while keeping zoom and replay accessible. Use the compact return button to reopen the studio. LIVE is an operator label; REPLAY appears in the broadcast.
Diagnostics show fps, dropped frames (Drop), elapsed time, battery, transferred data and thermal status. Data counters include app traffic, not just the video stream.
Teams, colours and logos
Choose the sport before entering the score and clock: switching sports resets match data. Enter Home Team Name and Away Team Name, choose team colours and import logos.
Crop imported logos to remove large empty margins. Check the scoreboard preview. You can also hide the entire scoreboard in Settings.
Camera, zoom and stabilization
Start capture and select an available lens. Android only offers lenses exposed by the manufacturer through Camera2, which may differ from the built-in camera app.
Move the vertical zoom slider up to zoom in and down to zoom out. PRO Smooth zoom softens transitions. PRO Standard and Extra stabilization help reduce shake.
The current Android version uses 30 fps for capture, streaming and replay. If the phone heats up, try disabling stabilization, reducing screen brightness and allowing it to cool.
Connecting and broadcasting on YouTube
Open YouTube setup, sign in and select the correct channel, not just your personal Google account. YouTube live streaming must be enabled for that channel.
Create a new broadcast or select an unfinished prepared event. Enter the title and check audience and visibility. Visibility defaults to Public: check it deliberately before going live. The thumbnail option is below the made-for-kids setting.
Start the camera, tap Go live now and wait for connection to finish. Being signed in or having a prepared broadcast does not mean you are live. Check the confirmed streaming status.
Playback on YouTube can appear later, sometimes a minute or more. End the platform broadcast after the match too. Completed events cannot be reused; create a new one. Facebook is hidden in this Android build.
Stream links and live chat
Copy the stream link after preparing the broadcast. YouTube live chat shows comments with a small current-video preview. Type your message and tap SEND; chat availability depends on the broadcast settings.
Approved Remote operators can also access comments. Pair them through Remote rather than sharing your channel credentials.
Replay and saving clips · PRO
Capture continuously builds up to 40 seconds of history. The 5–40 second choices become available as the buffer fills. Choose a duration, scrub the playback position and adjust speed from 0.25× to 2×.
Set the default speed to 0.25×, 0.5× or 1× in Settings. Live capture continues during replay; the small live preview is private to the operator. The broadcast keeps the live microphone so you can commentate. Back to live returns to the live picture.
Enable automatic replay saving in Settings to archive clips in Movies/SportStreamStudio. Saved clips use original speed and original audio, retain the scoreboard and exclude sponsor logos and LIVE/REPLAY labels. Video boundaries can slightly shorten a clip.
Sponsors · PRO
Import and crop up to 22 logos. Check the sponsors to include in rotation, select a position and set size up to 400%. Rotation can be set from 1 to 30 seconds even while disabled.
With rotation off, the first checked sponsor is used unless you select another manually. Show displays a specific logo. Settings also lets you select a separate replay sponsor and hide the studio branding.
Controls for nine sports
American football: score, quarter, clock, timeouts, possession, down & distance and flag. Down & distance is free. Soccer: half, clock, added time, cards and substitutions.
Ice hockey: periods, shots, penalties, players on ice and shootouts. Floorball: periods, shots, penalties, players on court and possession. Handball: halves, suspensions and cards.
Basketball: quarters, points, fouls and shot clock. The 24 and 14 buttons reset the shot clock to those seconds; the clock can be hidden. Volleyball: points, sets, serve and configurable set target.
Tennis: points, games, sets and serve. Baseball: inning and half, runs, balls, strikes, outs and occupied bases. An operator updates match data; configure it for your competition rules before the match.
Remote: another app or a laptop
Open Remote in the host phone settings and create a pairing code. On another device, use Remote mode in the app or the web controller.
Enter the code, compare verification numbers and approve the connection on the host. Up to five controllers can connect using a mix of apps and browsers. Internet access is required.
Control the score, clock and other available sport controls. Stopping the clock remotely uses the value shown by the controller, though the picture update may arrive later. Disconnect unused controllers after the match.
Free, PRO and restoring purchases
Basic streaming, camera capture, team logos and the scoreboard are free without an app-imposed time limit. PRO adds replay, sponsors, stabilization, Smooth zoom and hiding the studio branding.
Choose a 24-hour pass or annual subscription in PRO. Google Play shows the applicable price and conditions before purchase. The day pass does not renew automatically; the annual subscription renews until cancelled.
To restore access, use the same Google Play account as the purchase and Restore purchases. Manage subscriptions under Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Signing into YouTube does not itself activate PRO.
Troubleshooting
Black picture: check camera and microphone permissions, close other camera apps and try stopping and restarting capture. A missing lens may be a manufacturer limitation.
YouTube cannot start: check your channel, live access, internet and that the event has not ended. Before creating another broadcast, check YouTube Studio for a partially created event.
Replay not ready: leave capture running and watch the buffer fill. If the phone overheats, reduce demanding features and allow cooling. Saving clips requires free storage.
