PexTransfer stores connection names, hostnames, usernames, folder permissions, favourites, scheduled jobs and up to 200 transfer records on your Mac. Passwords are stored in the local macOS Keychain when selected; otherwise they remain in the session's memory. iCloud is not required. Removing a connection removes its saved password, not server files. Job snapshots and history may retain names and paths separately. Reminder dates and language preferences are stored locally.

Files and authentication travel directly between your Mac and the server you choose, not through PEXTO. The server receives connection metadata such as your IP address and may keep its own logs under its provider's rules. Prefer FTPS or SFTP; plain FTP is unencrypted. StoreKit contacts Apple to load products and verify purchases; PEXTO does not receive your card details. No advertising or third-party analytics SDK is included in this app build. Optional macOS notifications are processed by the operating system.
03 / Privacy & cookies
These PexTransfer web pages use no advertising, analytics, embedded remote media or optional cookies. Language selection uses ordinary links. The hosting provider VEDOS/WEDOS processes technical requests, including IP address, requested URL and time, to deliver and protect the site. PEXTO is controller for website and support data; operation/security rely on legitimate interests, requested support on contract or pre-contract steps, and mandatory records on legal obligations. Logs and support correspondence are kept only as needed for security, resolving requests and applicable legal record-keeping; third-party services have their own policies.
04 / Your rights
Email developer@pexto.cz to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability where applicable, or to object to legitimate-interest processing. You may complain to the Czech data protection authority (ÚOOÚ) or your local supervisory authority. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made by PEXTO here. We do not need your server password to provide support. Send only necessary diagnostics and redact credentials. Local profiles remain until you remove them; historical records rotate after 200 entries. Contact us for help removing remaining local job/history data.
